Gallbladder Adenoma

Abstract

|
Gallbladder adenoma is rare and there has been no report in Korean literature. We had experienced 4 cases of GB adenoma and here report them. Of which 3 cases had been examined by GB ultrasonograms whose findings were fixed echogenic densities without sonic shadowings.
There had been no definite malignant evidence in our cases, but atypia was present in one adenoma. Due to the possible malignant potential of the GB adenoma, although still in controversy, we thought that the ultrasonographically suspected lesions should be removed or followed up regularly with GB ultrasonogram.
